White Oak Construction Nominated For “Best” in Commercial Construction and Green Business

Salem, OR (Feb. 16, 2016)  White Oak Construction has been nominated for Best Commercial Builder and Best Green Business in the Statesman Journal’s 2016 Best of the Mid Valley people’s choice awards.  The company was also recognized in 2015 with a Bronze Medal in the Best Commercial Builder category.

White Oak obtained its EarthWISE certification with Marion County for its environmentally friendly practices.

Mark Fox says, “We understand the impact our work can have on future generations and the environment.”

The company makes sure their projects are sustainable in the long term by building in ways to use energy efficiently and conserve heat, light and water, using locally produced and recycled materials, working with local contractors whenever possible and incorporating an active waste management system.
