We are so pleased with the recent remodel work White Oak Construction did to our building at Helping Hands.  They were all very personable and did an incredible job cleaning up after the work was done.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife facility was a true “fast track” project. The completion schedule was extremely tight and included the added difficulty of working through winter conditions. Your ability to schedule sub-contractors, adjust for changing design conditions, provide “out-of-sequence” work, and manage a large contingent of sub-contracts that needed to be in process all at the same time was exemplary. Speed is one thing. Quality is another. Not only did White Oak complete the project on time, but the quality of the work and finishes is first class. Your commitment to materials and finishes that provide quality appearance, low maintenance, and life-cycle value clearly shows today in the finished building and will continue to do so throughout the years. I was impressed by your ability to communicate… through your cooperative spirit, leadership, understanding of the issues, and “hands on” approach. The ODFW project also included a “sustainability” and green architecture component that came late in the project program. White Oak Development… took an active role in evaluating and incorporating those components. Both Lee and I would highly recommend White Oak Development to prospective clients.

I began my relationship with White Oak Construction under very difficult circumstances. They took over a retail development project when the other contractor filed bankruptcy and was unable to finish the project. Their expertise, skill and experience enabled them to take over the project and complete it on time and under budget — even under those circumstances. They worked well with the architect, engineers, tenants, and most importantly, the city to meet everyone’s requirements. Their open book accounting was meticulous and accurate. They were easily accessible and available after the project was completed if needs arose. I have worked with them on several projects since and would highly and enthusiastically recommend White Oak without hesitation.

I am happy to give my wholehearted endorsement to White Oak Development. They did a fantastic job on the construction of our building. The team was an absolute pleasure to work with. His attention to detail is evident in his craftsmanship and customer care. By keeping us involved in the details, I understood that we were a priority to them.

They are very conscientious of the job the company is doing. White Oak displays a very high degree of integrity, quality and dependability. The quality of our building is superb and we actually moved into our new facility on time!!

EDS / Oregon MMIS

I am writing to you to express my appreciation for your recent build-out of our new EDS facility in Salem, Oregon. You accepted the challenges associated with an aggressive schedule and multiple subcontractors, and you met those challenges head on. Although the job brought its share of conflict and concerns, you remained steadfast in your pursuit to meet your commitments. As a result, you proved trustworthy as a general contractor who can successfully manage this type of work, and I would be happy to provide a positive reference for you in the future, if desired. Thank you for a job well done.

I worked very closely with the team and Rano Ellingson on the Salem project, and the McMinnville facility. I found them to be highly skilled professionals. [White Oak Construction] brought both the Salem and McMinnville building projects in “on-time” and “on-budget”.

The necessary planning with engineers and architects took place in a timely fashion, and I was brought into critical elements of these discussions. During the construction phase, I met each week with Mark to review progress. Change orders requested by MWVSSA were respectfully handled, and always accommodated. MWVSSA is extremely satisfied with the performance of WOD on our two building projects. We feel fortunate to have hooked-up with White Oak.

White Oak was very professional in completing the remodel for us. Peter and staff were timely, considerate and task focused. We really appreciated the work that was accomplished and White Oak’s generosity in donating the labor to our nonprofit.
